Location
For more than two thousand years there has been a caravanserai and an ancient teahouse surrounded by rocks, springs and grottoes, caves and streams. Millennial plane trees have survived to the present day, giving caravans and travelers an oasis of shady coolness on hot days. The famous Japanese landscape architect Kozo Iwatani has laid out a garden of stones and waterfalls here — a philosophical garden of silence and coolness.
Next to the teahouse there is a whole plateau of ancient petroglyphs - drawings of a man of the Mousterian era. Endless mountain ranges and waterfalls, rocks and grottoes of extraordinary beauty stretch around. According to legend, the army of the great Alexander the Great stopped to rest in this shady oasis on his campaign to India.
It is here that the hotel sports and recreation entertainment complex "Mahalla Porto de Cinara's" is supposed to be located.
